I couldn’t wait to work with this busy mother of four when she referred to her kitchen as the “hot mess express!”
Her beautiful and spacious kitchen had an area overflowing with piles of papers and miscellaneous items. The counter had become a dumping ground for school papers and “stuff” while the bottom cabinets had become overfilled with craft supplies for her children and other household items that didn’t have a home. Everyone who is a mom knows how much paper one child can bring home after just one day at school, this mom has FOUR children! Between carpools, working part time, laundry, cooking and taking care of a family of six, this mom is busy and didn’t have time to deal with the growing piles. Did I mentioned a new puppy too?
The drawers were in rough shape too with all kinds of miscellaneous items being tossed into them.
This space is now the designated headquarters for her children and is a place where they can keep their important school papers without getting lost and a centralized place for charging ipads and iphones.
Each child now has their own tray for important school papers.
We purchased this 5 port charging hub so only one outlet has to be used for charging multiple devices. She already had the paper filing stand which is also perfect for putting devices in while they are being charged.
The cabinets underneath were cleaned out and reorganized. There is now a designated place for the slime too!
